SpamSlap blocks unwanted calls and filters spam SMS messages. To get started, you need to enable the extensions on your iPhone:
The # character is a wildcard that matches any digit from 0 to 9. Place wildcards at the end of a phone number pattern to block a range of numbers.
Example: The pattern +12125551#### blocks all 10,000 numbers from +121255510000 to +121255519999.
Why aren't my blocking rules working?
Make sure you have enabled the SpamSlap extension in Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. Rules will not take effect until the extension is active.
Why aren't my SMS filters working?
Enable the SpamSlap filter in Settings > Messages > Unknown & Spam. Note that SMS filtering only works for messages from unknown senders — messages from your contacts are never filtered.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?
The free version has a limited number of rules and wildcards per rule. Premium unlocks unlimited rules and wildcards for maximum blocking power.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Go to Settings inside the app and tap "Restore Purchases". Your Premium status will be restored if you have a previous purchase on the same Apple ID.
Can I block international numbers?
Yes. When adding a rule, use the country code picker to select any country, then enter the number pattern. SpamSlap supports 40+ country codes.
Does SpamSlap access my contacts or call history?
No. SpamSlap does not access your contacts, call history, or any personal data. All blocking rules are stored locally on your device.
